Getting Involved
Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in Lewisham PCT sets out to:
- Be as accountable to local people as possible
- Find out what people want
- Improve services through improved planning and monitoring
- Improve information to local people about services
- Ensure that user concerns are taken seriously in the setting of service priorities
- Deliver on our legal duty to involve and consult people
- Develop opportunities to work with other organisations in involving people to go beyond national requirements so that we are viewed as exemplary in our commitment to our local communities
